Anthony’s priorities
Defend democracy
Anthony is an unequivocal supporter of the referendum process and will fight to preserve and expand it in Portland.
He supports the Clean Elections Fund, and will seek to have it formalized in the city’s charter.
He will supports expanding the City Council to allow a greater number of communities to send representatives to the Council.
Defend justice
Fight for police reform and accountability.
Give Portland workers the raise they voted for.
Centralize Black, Brown, Indigenous, Disabled, Working Class and LGBTQ voices on the Charter Commission, to ensure the needs of all of Portland’s communities are being heard.
Defend our future
Decriminalize hard drugs, letting people with Substance Use Disorder receive help rather than throwing them to the whims of the justice system
No Portland worker should live in poverty, and Anthony will fight for universal housing to eliminate homelessness and a fair wage for an honest day’s work.
Remove the unaccountable City Manager position, and replace it with an elected mayor.
